Whats up kids? Here is an update for everyone... Its long over due, but here we go.

======================================
NAR w/ Machine Head and Devildriver
======================================
May 8th, we played an awesome show with Machine Head and Devildriver in Toronto. Sorry we couldn't give you all more then a days notice, but props to everyone who helped pack the place on such short notice. It was awesome to share the stage with Machine Head, who happen to be one of my favorite bands. It was fun for sure.
======================================
The Great Tribulation
======================================
We have started recording the new album. We are recording the album in my new studio. I recently opened up a studio for personal recordings, NAR recording, and helping out other local bands who want a good demo cheap. Its been going pretty good, so we figured we should just record the album ourself so we can take time and be extra picky making this the best sounding NAR record ever.

We appreciate all the NAR fans out there waiting for some new material, we know its long over due for sure, but we don't wanna rush things, its how we normally do things, but we are in no rush this time, and when the album is done we know you will all appreciate the time we took on it.

We will have some guest stars on the record too, and we still are not sure who is going to mix the record, but as soon as we confirm things like this we will let you all know.

Right now we hope to have a new album, promo pictures, web page, the whole deal by mid september. We will be back playing shows around then too. Until then tho, thank you all for being so supportive and not forgetting about NAR... we will be back better then ever, i promise each and everyone of you that...

If you loved us, hated us, ever seen us live... it wont matter... we are reborn, we have a fresh new vibe, we have evolved beyond anyone could have expected. and we will prove it, to all the old fans, to all the haters, to everyone new that we will meet along the way... The Great Tribulation is almost here... and Intense Vibecore will be redefined.
======================================
Here is the current track list
======================================

01. I Hate
02. Russia
03. A Day In February
04. Incinerate
05. Purification
06. Pictures of You
07. Binary
08. As I Watch
09. Of Sin and Suffering...
10. {song name TBA}
11. International Love Affair
12. Silent
13. Despair And The Torment
14. Last Goodbye

======================================

Thats all for now, if anyone has any questions for us, feel free to e-mail us, all the info is on our site. We love getting e-mails from you all.

http://www.narmusic.com
http://www.myspace.com/noassemblyrequired

Fuck rock n roll... the NAR crew be grizzlin'
Cheers

Hello everyone. Any of you people still checking up on us and making sure we're still breathing, thanks. Much love and respect.

Things have been moving at a rapid speed here in the NAR camp. Sorry for the huge lack of updates, but we've been extremely focused on many many things.

We are probably the most focused we have ever been. The new record is still being worked on. We have NOT entered the studio yet. We are still writing and perfecting our songs, we are trying to close some deals with record labels to have our album in stores for all of you, we hope to have some good news for you all with in the next month.

We are planning on recording 20 songs, like i've said before. one might even be a cover song, and we will release it online only. Between all that, getting art work ready for the album, new logos, new web pages, working out business deals, a lot of other stuff, things have been intense.

But don't lose faith, NAR is gonna come out the block running, we are the strongest we've ever been, and we feel already our album is going to be light years beyond anything anyone thinks we can produce. Possibly our most heavy material we've ever done, mixed with our most melodic and musical styles we've ever done, i really think if people like this record 1/10th as much as we do, people will be amazed.

We are trying to take all steps needed to get this record made and in stores for all of you to buy, we wont disappoint.

We are also very determined to come out on the road this year and tour across canada and the usa, we wanna see you all. We will keep you updated as soon as anything major happens.

Toronto fans, we will keep you all up to date on our CD release show info soon, as soon as we set a date we will let you know. we hope to have tickets on sale at least 2 months in advance. We hope to have a big sold out show, and party it up right, we also hope to play a good hour set. Along with the new album is coming a totally new live show.

When the Great Tribulation is upon us, you will see a completely different NAR. We cant wait to be back doin what we do.

Thank you all for your love and support

Rock N Roll

Whats up people? a lot of news in the NAR camp to report. So I am gonna try to do this in a way that will make shit as easy for you all to read as possible.

-----------------------------------
The Great Tribulation
-----------------------------------
Work on the new album is going great! We are set to record about 20 songs. 13 or 14 will be on the new CD

The album is in pre production mode right now. Songs we have so far for the new album are as follows:

a day in february, i hate, as i watch, pictures of you, russia, lockdown, to sin and to suffer, purification, unsatisfied, last goodbye, international love affair, despair and the torment, cthulhu, sucker punch, silent, motel murder, its ok, and incinerate.

more songs are still being worked on. we plan on taking this album way beyond anything we've ever done. musically this album is beyond what we hoped to achieve. The album is a really good balance between many types of metal, hardcore, rock, emo, funk... whatever else you wanna add... its basically a well rounded heavy/melodic record that i personally think will appeal to many open minded people.
-----------------------------------
NAR DVD in the works
-----------------------------------
We are currently putting together a DVD as well, we hope to have the DVD come with the new CD, so it will be like a double pack! We are going over many many tapes of footage, and trying to piece together a solid DVD that will go over the history of NAR, the making of the "shove" video as well as our new video which we will shoot in the next 2 months or so, it will also feature NAR on the road, NAR chillin with friends, stories and fan reactions to some memorable NAR moments, as well as live footage and other goodies. If anyone has ideas on what they would like to see, please feel free to send them to us.
-----------------------------------
5th member search
-----------------------------------
as some of you know, we are looking for a 5th member. The search is going well, we have had several replies already, but there is still time. for info check out my personal journal and read up on what we're looking for.

www.livejournal.com/users/system_86
-----------------------------------
RIP Dimebag
-----------------------------------
I know this is old news, and we posted something about it on the NAR site. But this is my first band journal post since this all happened, so I wanted to say some words. Dime will be missed, he was a great man, and as many of our local Toronto fans know, we got to play a sold out Opera House show with Damageplan back in the summer, and we got to meet them, chill with them, talk to them, and just really become close to them. Me sharing a stage with one of my guitar heros, and getting to meet and talk to him, and have him treat you like a friend was awesome. It was something i will never forget. Vinnie Paul gave T-rod his china cymbal, and Dime gave him a bong. They were cool all around to the whole NAR Crew. And having met him just meant a lot to us, and it is such a shame what happened, words cannot explain what we are still all feeling. Its shocking and is such a tragic loss. RIP Dime, i'm sure where ever you are you're loading up on Jager shots. Cheers man.
-----------------------------------
Fans we need your help
-----------------------------------
As I mentioned above, the NAR DVD is in the works, we plan on releasing it as a package with the new CD, but we really want to make this DVD something special. So if you have any ideas of what you want to see on the DVD send them in. If there was a moment at a NAR show you'll never forget and wanna see it again, most likely we got it on tape, let us know... if you have an idea on something we should add in like band interviews, or something, anything... PLEASE send in your thoughts, we are making the DVD for the fans, so we need your input
-----------------------------------

That is all for now my people. Keep checkin back, because the next few months are going to be crazy! soon we will have info on how to pre order the NAR cd/dvd.

keep our myspace page alive
www.myspace.com/noassemblyrequired

much love

Rock n Roll

What is up everyone? Got some important NAR news and info for you today... First off we have a show tomorrow! It will be our last local Toronto show of the year, and probably last in Toronto till mid 2005. So come check us out while you still can!

Scum of The Earth was suppose to be playing the show as well as the Ottawa show we were playing on November 11th, but they cancelled their tour, so now its just us and DFD in Toronto, and the Ottawa show is now cancelled. Very sorry to everyone in Ottawa, but its totally out of our hands.

The set list for tomorrow looks something like this:

sucker punch
shove
a day in february
as i watch
dying breed
malfunction
purification

the songs in bold are 2 new songs! so be sure not to miss this show.

The reason this is our last show in Toronto for a long time is simple. We are working very hard on the new album right now. We have a lot of songs ready so far, but the writing isn't stopping any time soon. We really want to make this album something beyond anything we've ever done, and its already looking to be something we're going to be insanely proud of. I cannot wait to share this with all of you... Also, we will be touring in the USA for most of 2005. We really want to focus on visiting all our fans down south. But we do plan on hitting Toronto again for our CD release show in June 2005.

In other news, Big thanx to Sian. If you watch Much Music's show "Much Take Over", this past Wednesday my good friend was one of the guest hosts, it was the semi finals, and she won! Thanks to all our fans who voted for her, she will be in the finals in a few weeks. Those of you who watched also probably caught her NAR plug on air. Much thanx to her for that. So when she is on in the finals, I will post about it so we can help make a fellow NAR crew member win it all!

That is all for now. I will be back to fill you all in on the new album in the near future. See you all tomorrow!

Rock N Roll

What is up kids!? Lots to cover tonight. Shit has been crazy busy for all in the NAR camp. As some of you know we recently got back from doing several shows in Michigan with our boys in Know Lyfe. Awesome trip, we had a blast meeting some of you fans, and making a bunch of new fans. It was really cool to be so well received in places we've never played before.

Well after the great weekend, we were crossing the boarder to come back into Canada... That however was not fun. They held us there for over 2.5 hours. Strip searched some of us, tore apart our van searching for drugs, broke some of our gear, and basically wasted our time because they didn't find anything on us.

Anyone in a band who crosses boarders will tell you, boarder crossing if a fuckin pain in the ass. Something should be done to allow bands to get in and out of the Canada and the USA easier. The whole 2.5 hours we were detained, they pulled over only about 4 other cars, and they were all let go in 10 min. Basically to make a long story short, Canadian customs can all go fuck them self. But that bad shit didn't put too much of a damper on the fun we had, so you know we will be back in Michigan soon, hopefully late November.

Also in November, look for some dates we will be playing with Dog Fashion Disco, and Scum of the Earth (feat. Rob Zombie's guitarist Riggz). So far we got the show with them in Ottawa Ont, on Nov 11th confirmed. Tickets on sale now at ticketmaster.ca. I'll let you know more soon.

======================================
Pre-Order NAR Hoodies now ! ! ! ! !
======================================
We will make hoodies ONLY for the people who pre order them. so if you want one, order one in your size you want (s,m,l,xl,xxl,xxxl,xxxxl) and we will make sure to add it to our next batch of merch we make, and as for t-shirts, we will make sure we got some in your size if you pre order them too.

deadline is Oct 11th.
contact me.

MSN: s86_nar@hotmail.com
e-mail me or add me to MSN

you can pay with: cash, money order, pay pal, credit card... pretty much anything. just ask. Free CD with every american order! contact me only if you are serious about ordering one before Oct 11th. T-shirts too...
======================================
for more info
======================================
http://www.myspace.com/noassemblyrequired

======================================
Rock n Roll

Wow, so we played with Damageplan (vinnie paul and dimebag of pantera's new band) on June 17th in Toronto at the Opera House. What a fuckin show. Big thanx to all who came out to show love. Sorry to those of you who couldent get in... but with help from you crazy fucks, we had a SOLD OUT show.

The place was packed. Damageplan fans, NAR fans. It went over really well, their fans seemed to really like us, the whole place didnt stop moving all night. And a lot of our fans seemed to like Damageplan.

It was very cool for me personally to meet and hang out with them, because Dimebag is one of my fav guitarists. 'Walk' from Pantera was one of the first songs I learned from beginning to end perfectly back when I first started playing guitar in around 1992. So it was cool to share the stage with them and to get to chat it up.

Big shout out goes to all the new fans we made that night, it was cool meeting you all. I hope everyone who came enjoyed the show. It was a very fun show for sure.

Look for NAR to be back in the GTA some time soon.

On to some news for those of you who have been asking us...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
No Assembly Required - T-shirts
We have very few left. This is our last batch of shirts for awhile, so get them before they are gone... we have at least one shirt in each size left... about 10 t-shirts left in total. Sizes available are... [S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL, XXXXL]

You can pay with Credit Card, PayPal, Money Order, Cash, Items can be placed on Ebay too if you'd like. Buy a shirt, and we'll send a free CD. Shirts range from $20-$25. That includes shipping and depends on where you live.

e-mail: nar_fans@hotmail.com
if you're interested.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well people, thats all for now.
Whats up crew? First off, we got some business to take care of here. Tonight we were suppose to play a show in Oshawa Ontario (home town to T-rod). We know there are a lot of people who wanted to come out and see us, and we know some of the bands said they really wanted to see us. We really looked forward to playing with you all, and chillin with the new fans, and the old ones as always... but unfortunately something happened.

LucA was arrested. He was taken in for questioning. As a select few of you know, after our Oakville Ontario show April 24th, when LucA returned home on the 25th, Police were waiting for him. We are not able to talk about his legal issues right now... but things had to be taken care of tonight. We apologize to all who came out and were disappointed, sorry to the bands. We hope the show went well.

For all who have been asking, things are fine with LucA now, he is out of jail, and what happened has pretty much fully been dealt with and this wont happen again in future shows.

Plans for a new Oshawa date will be kept in our heads for as soon as we finish things up in the studio.

Once again, we apologize. Thank you all for your support.

Rock N Roll

Big props to all who came to the show last night. Playing with our boys in 40 Below Summer again was beyond amazing. But I know most of you who read this couldn't have came out cuz you all live far away... so here is a run down of the show.

3 bands played the show, local toronto band Midenora opened things, then us, then 40 Below. For us we were worried cuz we haven't played together since Dec 14th, we never jammed or anything. and it was Feb 17th... but regardless, the set went really really well... and it made me proud cuz several people knew we haven't been jamming, and we still came off as really tight live. So it made all the props and kind words we got after the show much more special to me.

The club was nicely packed. We changed our set list last min cuz Max didn't want to do Eyeliner, he asked to do 11 cent solution with us instead, so we brought 11 cent back and scrapped Eyeliner. So our set went as follows... intro, shove, my bleeding eyes, 11 cent solution (feat Max Illidge), 905 mudaks, one night of tragedy, dying breed, malfunction, with the itches outro to close the show.

Our set was full of energy, the crowd seemed to love it, and I never heard anything bad, so it was great. Plus being able to perform at home with a lot of people from the NAR crew coming out to support us and 40 below... and getting to do this in front of our boys 40 Below Summer was just awesome. We haven't seen them since september 2003, so it was good to welcome them here with so much love from all of you who came out. The energy you gave back to us and to 40 below was un real. The moshing, the people singing along to every fuckin word, non stop yelling... It was all very unreal. We thank you all.

40 Below Summer then went on after us, and they were fuckin amazing, they tore shit up. They dedicated their song "step into the side show" to us, which was really cool, then Max also sent out "monday song" to myself. Cuz I requested them to play it.

All our fans loved them, and their fans loved us, and together it was probably the funnest show I have ever played. Cuz besides being like family to us, 40 Below is in my personal top 2 favorite bands... so watching them made the show extra fun for me... Its not often you get to play with bands you love, in front of your people that you love. It was a great time had by all. I am very positive that 90% of the people who came out all left thinking that this was one of the best shows they have ever been too... judging by the large number of people who said that to me all night long.

After the show was done, the NAR crew and 40 Below chilled and partied it up a little and things went down... some I cannot mention, but good times. Thanks to all who came out, much love, much respect... you helped make the show good and most likely 40 below will be back to canada some time soon cuz they fuckin loved it here. Cuz the show rocked so much, I am going to try to bring my buddies Crossbreed to Canada next. Who would be down with that?

Until next time my children!

Rock n Roll
